Roasted Acorn Squash Recipe
Cut acorn squash in half.
Roasted acorn squash recipe. Place the acorn squash on a cutting board and using a sharp knife slice the acorn squash in half. Bake squashes until tender when pierced with a fork about 40 minutes. Remove from oven and brush each slice with butter.

Then place in the pre heated oven and bake until the squash begins to soften approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Roast for 40 to 60 minutes depending on the size of the squash until tender when pierced with a small knife. Season with salt and pepper.
Slice the acorn squash in half with a heavy duty knife then scoop out the seeds with your hands. Roast them cut side up on a baking sheet for 50 minutes or until the flesh is just tender. Then remove the seeds using a spoon.
Place the squash on a serving platter. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Roast in preheated oven until golden brown and tender 25 to 30 minutes.
