Recipe Alfredo Sauce Pasta Chicken
This is how to make a one pot chicken alfredo pasta with al dente pasta and a silky creamy sauce.
Recipe alfredo sauce pasta chicken. Remove chicken from skillet. Tip in the cream along with the nutmeg and bring to a simmer. While the chicken is cooking bring a large pot of water to a boil salt generously and cook your pasta until al dente.
Melt butter in another skillet over medium heat. Lower the heat to medium low. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the drained fettuccine to the sauce and toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick add some of the reserved pasta cooking water a few tablespoons at a time to thin it out. Whilst the pasta is cooking add the butter to the frying pan over a medium heat scraping the bottom a little to get any of the browned bits.
One pot chicken alfredo pasta. Set the chicken aside for a couple of minutes then slice on the diagonal. Allow to rest for 5 minutes and cut into thin strips.

Add the cream and parmesan at the end to avoid gluggy sauce and unevenly cooked pasta. Cook and stir mushrooms and garlic powder until mushrooms begin to soften about 3 minutes. Toss pasta sauce with cooked pasta until well coated and top with chicken strips.
