Bake until bubbling 20 25 minutes. In a 1 1 2 qt. Combine the topping mixture together and cover the bean mixture with the topping.
Boil the green beans in the chicken broth for about 20 minutes and then drain reserving 1 1 2 cups of the chicken broth. In a 2 quart baking dish add green beans. Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through.
In a small bowl combine the reserved onion topping with the cornflake crumbs coating thoroughly. Add the mushroom soup cheddar cheese salt and pepper to the green beans. Cut off the ends of the green beans and lay them in the casserole dish.
