Recipe Eggplant Parmesan Casserole
Then place a layer of the cooked eggplant in the bottom of the dish on top of the sauce.
Recipe eggplant parmesan casserole. To assemble casserole spread 2 3 tbsp marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Pour in marinara sauce and water. Repeat layering with the remaining ingredients.
Cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Arrange about 1 2 the eggplant slices in a 2 quart casserole dish. Bake in the preheated oven until hot and bubbling about 25 minutes.
Saute until eggplant is softened about 5 minutes. Turn heat to medium low and cook until eggplant is tender about 15 minutes. Top with 1 2 the sauce 1 2 the mozzarella cheese and 1 2 the parmesan cheese.
Top with more layer of each eggplant parmesan mozzarella basil and marinara. Sprinkle with some of the freshly grated parmigiano cheese and then add another layer of sauce eggplant and cheese. Top with 1 2 slices of eggplant followed by half of slices mozzarella half of parmesan and 1 2 cup of marinara.
