Recipe Eggnog French Toast
Whisk the eggs and eggnog together in a large bowl.
Recipe eggnog french toast. In a large bowl whisk together the eggs eggnog rum extract vanilla extract cinnamon and nutmeg until completely combined and eggs are fully incorporated with the eggnog. Place the bread slices atop the brown sugar mixture. Cook on a greased hot griddle until golden brown on both sides and cooked through.
Place it in an oven and turn the oven to 250 f. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium high until melted. In a bowl beat eggs eggnog sugar and extract.
Pour mixture over bread and press bread down making sure all pieces are submerged in eggnog egg mixture. In a large bowl whisk eggs eggnog vanilla cinnamon and nutmeg until combined. This can be for 15 minutes as you prep the batter or up to 48 hours on your countertop.
Beat together eggs eggnog rum sugar nutmeg cinnamon salt vanilla. To make it even more flavorful soak and refrigerate the bread overnight in a large baking dish. Combine the eggnog rum if using eggs cinnamon nutmeg and vanilla in a large bowl.
Cook and stir until the mixture begins to boil. Pour over the bread slices. Arrange the bread slices in two well greased 15 inch by 10 inch by 1 inch baking pans.
Remove the mixture from heat and pour into the prepared baking dish. Step 1 slice the bread. Cover to keep warm until ready to serve.
