Apple Crisp Recipe Graham Cracker Crumbs
Cut in butter until crumbly.
Apple crisp recipe graham cracker crumbs. Bake uncovered at 350 for 25 30 minutes or until apples are tender. Use hands or pastry cutter to combine until crumbly. Arrange apple slices in a buttered 11 x7 baking pan.
Using your hands rub the butter thoroughly through the dry ingredients. Spoon mixture into an 11 x 7 inch glass or ceramic baking dish coated with cooking spray. Pulse until crackers are coarsely chopped.
Mix water and 1 2 cup sugar together. Drizzle melted butter evenly over topping. Pour water over apples.
Combine graham cracker crumbs brown sugar flour salt and baking powder in a bowl and whisk together. Bake until apples are tender and top is lightly browned about 40 45 minutes. Cover apples with half the brown sugar mixture and half the graham cracker crumbs.
Mix remaining sugar graham cracker crumbs flour cinnamon and salt. Place apples in a greased 1 qt. Either cut butter into chunks or use a large hole cheese grater to grate it into the dry mixture.
Garnish with whipped topping and cinnamon if desired. In a bowl combine the graham cracker crumbs sugar and cinnamon. Mix together the flour graham cracker crumbs brown sugar and baking powder well.
