Acorn Squash Tofu Recipe
1 tablespoon cornstarch flour or arrowroot powder.
Acorn squash tofu recipe. Cut each slab in half. Crispy tofu stuffed sweet and spicy acorn squash. Spray the squash and peppers with cooking spray and sprinkle with half of the smoked paprika mixture.
Drain tofu and slice into 1 2 inch thick slabs. Arrange tofu on a large baking sheet or several plates lined with several layers of paper towels. 1 tablespoon olive oil.
In a small cup combine the paprika salt and pepper. In a small bowl combine the remaining 3 tablespoons oil with the garlic and spoon this all over the squash and tofu. Evenly arrange the squash and bell pepper on the prepared baking sheet.
Sauté for a few minutes then add soy sauce. Saute garlic and onion. Put the squash in a large microwave safe bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon dill a splash of water and salt and pepper to taste. Cover it with a plastic wrap pierce the plastic and microwave for 15 minutes or until tender. Place squash skin side up on a pan and add 1 4 cup of water.
In a large microwaveable bowl put in the squash and add 1 tablespoon dill a splash of water and salt and pepper to taste. 1 12 ounce block of house foods organic extra firm tofu drained and cubed. Cover and roast for 20 30 minutes or until done.
