Recipe Delicata Squash Maple Syrup
Cut squash in half scoop out seeds and cut into slices.
Recipe delicata squash maple syrup. Drizzle the maple syrup into the cavity of each one. In a bowl toss squash slices with olive oil and salt. You can omit the maple syrup or use brown sugar instead.
Salt and pepper to tastecut the squash into half moons approximately 1 4 thick. You can omit if desired but the cinnamon adds a delicious subtle flavor. This lightly sweetened dish provides an easy way to eat some of the fall harvest.
Toss with olive oil maple syrup salt and pepper. Like squash slices on greased or lined cookie sheet and brush with syrup. Set a small sprig of thyme or sprinkle the dried thyme in each half.
Cut off squash ends halve lengthwise seeded and sliced into 1 inch half moons. Extra virgin olive oil. Heat oven to 400 degrees.

You can eat the entire squash including the skin. Sprinkle salt and freshly ground black pepper over the flesh of the squash. This squash is available in the summer and fall months.
