Recipe Apple Pie Taquitos
Empty the can of pie filling onto a cutting board and chop the apples into smaller pieces with a knife.
Recipe apple pie taquitos. Place in pan with hot oil seam down applying pressure to keep it sealed. In a small bowl mix together coconut sugar and cinnamon. Butter your 8 inch brownie pan and preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Take a tortilla and place apple filling in a vertical line down the center of it then roll into a tight taquito. Lay 1 egglife wrap down and top with 2 to 3 tbs of apple pie filling and sprinkle with cinnamon. I topped them off with homemade salted caramel sauce and some sweetened whipped cream.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees f and line a baking sheet with foil. In a shallow plate mix together the sugar and cinnamon. 1 preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Tightly roll up each tortilla to create a taquito and place into the casserole dish. Roll the taquito into the sugar and cinnamon mixture coating evenly then place into the brownie pan. Add the butter and heat until melted then remove half of the butter to a bowl and set.
Flip and fry other side until a little stiff and brown. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes or until apples are tender as preferred. Tightly roll up the tortilla.
Roll into a taquito form and seal with egg wash. The ingredients are simply made with a can of apple pie filling that is rolled into corn tortillas fried in oil and then rolled in cinnamon and sugar. Stir in the caramel sauce and set aside.
