Recipe Apple Crisp Cookie Cups
Spray the bottom of a small shot glass with cooking spray and press shot glass down.
Recipe apple crisp cookie cups. While cookies are still warm make the cups. Combine the flour baking soda salt and cinnamon in a small bowl. Combine flour oats brown sugar 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl.
Using a medium cookie scoop scoop dough into muffin tins and press to flatten. Then i fill the cups with caramelized apples and top with ice cream. Simmer until apples are partially cooked about 5 minutes.
Bake until cookie cups are golden brown and set 18 to 20 minutes. Mix apples water white sugar and 1 2 teaspoon of cinnamon together in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium low heat stirring occasionally. Add flour oats baking powder cinnamon and salt and stir until just combined.
Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Remove from oven and if needed immediately use a small jar or container to press firmly down in the center to create a well. Add the oats and stir until well combined.
Make sure all the apple are coated in the mixture and let the apples rest a bit to release some of the juices. In a large mixing bowl using a hand mixer add butter 1 cup brown sugar and 1 2 cup granulated sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Bake cookie cups for approx.
Prep the crisp topping by combining butter flour brown sugar oats and salt. Stir in the orange zest orange juice salt brown sugar and cinnamon. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until evenly combined.
