Recipe For Vegetable Meatloaf
Remove meatloaf from oven and set aside to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Recipe for vegetable meatloaf. Combine mince breadcrumbs eggs carrot zucchini onion and green capsicum mixture in a large bowl. Top the meatloaf with ketchup or barbecue sauce just before it s finished baking. Form into a loaf in an ungreased 5 3 4x3x2 in.
Add about 1 cup of shredded cheese to the meatloaf mixture along with the vegetables. Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Press mixture into the prepared loaf tin.
Spread the marinara sauce over the meatloaf. Use your hands to blend all of the ingredients. Peel and finely chop.
Season with salt and pepper and mix well using your hands. Broil 12 minutes or until blackened. Let stand for 10 minutes.
Place the vegetable meat mixture on the center of the parchment paper and shape into a large loaf about 1 inch thick. In a bowl combine ground beef bread egg carrot onion green pepper celery seasonings and 2 tablespoons chili sauce. Fold to close tightly.
Add cheese slices american mozzarella cheddar etc to the top of the loaf and return it to the oven. Place bell peppers in a large bowl. Bake for a few minutes or until the cheese has melted.
