Recipe Eggnog Rice Pudding
Butter the inside edge no need to do the bottom of a baking dish then add the rice and the milk and cream if using and eggnog liqueur.
Recipe eggnog rice pudding. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. This rice pudding is made with arborio rice which makes the pudding nice and rich and creamy. Remove and discard the lemon zest.
Combine eggnog rice vanilla extract nutmeg and salt in a saucepan. Turn the heat to low and simmer the rice covered until all of the water is absorbed about 15 minutes. Place 2 cups eggnog in a heavy saucepan.
Cover and cook on low for about 20 minutes until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender. Measure out 1 1 2 cups of the cooked rice and place it in another clean saucepan. Add eggnog rice and salt into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil stirring frequently.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Make sure you simmer it on low heat so you don t burn the milk. Remove from the heat.
Add the vanilla pod into the rice pudding to steep. Add in the eggnog sugar and salt. Combine cornstarch and remaining eggnog until smooth.
Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbling about 5 minutes. Eggnog rice pudding recipe. Combine the cooked jasmine rice and the eggnog in a medium sized pot.
