Enchilada Sauce Recipe Mild
Go forth and make enchiladas.
Enchilada sauce recipe mild. Stir until the butter is all melted and you have a well blended paste. Add the flour mixture and whisk constantly for about 1 minute until fragrant and darker in color. Season to taste with salt.
Remove from heat then whisk in the vinegar and season to taste with a generous amount of freshly ground black pepper. Then add the tomato sauce. While whisking constantly add in the tomato paste and slowly pour in the broth.
In a small bowl mix the tomato sauce with the rest of the ingredients until it is fully blended. Simmer the sauce for one hour stirring occasionally. A good mild sauce than can be easily warmed up by adding jalapenos chipotles or other spices.
Sauté until golden about 1 minute. Once the butter and flour are well combined slowly add your broth whisking the whole time to avoid lumps. Add the enchilada sauce along with 1 tablespoon mexican oregano 1 teaspoon cumin 2 teaspoons salt and some freshly cracked black pepper.
Put the butter flour and all the spices except the salt in a medium stock pot over medium heat. Gradually stir in tomato sauce water cumin garlic powder and onion salt into the flour and chili powder until smooth and continue cooking over medium heat approximately 10 minutes or until thickened slightly. Use an immersion blender to blend the ingredients.
Mix spices and flour in olive oil in saucepan over medium heat until fragrant and starting to brown. Heat a saucepan over medium heat add the oil and garlic. Reduce heat to medium low and very slowly stir in the water until it is completely mixed and smooth.
