Cover the pot and cook on low for about 6 to 8 hours or until the chicken is tender. In 4 1 2 to 6 quart slow cooker bowl combine water carrots celery onion garlic bay leaves thyme 4 t salt 1 2 t pepper. Add noodles put your noodles of choice into the crock pot and set on high.
If your crock pot isn t already on high turn it on high and cook for another hour stirring occasionally. Shred the chicken and add noodles once the chicken is cooked through remove it from the crock pot and shred it into bite sized pieces. Place the chicken back into the slow cooker.
