Recipe For Apple Crisp With Graham Crackers
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Recipe for apple crisp with graham crackers. Drizzle melted butter evenly over topping. In a bowl combine the graham cracker crumbs sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter until crumbly.
To prepare the crumb topping. Combine graham cracker crumbs brown sugar flour salt and baking powder in a bowl and whisk together. Stir together crumbs sugar oats flour and spices.
Use hands or pastry cutter to combine until crumbly. Mix together the flour graham cracker crumbs brown sugar and baking powder well. Mix remaining sugar graham cracker crumbs flour cinnamon and salt.
Cover apples with half the brown sugar mixture and half the graham cracker crumbs. Pour the apples into a greased 10 inch deep dish pie pan or a 9x13 baking dish. Microwave on high 12 15 minutes.
Arrange apple slices in a buttered 11 x7 baking pan. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl tossing to coat. In a medium mixing bowl combine the graham cracker crumbs flour brown sugar and salt.
Place apples in a greased 1 qt. Bake until apples are tender and top is lightly browned about 40 45 minutes. Pour water over apples.
