Recipe Apple Crisp With Dried Cranberries
In a large bowl toss the apples with the sugar and lemon juice.
Recipe apple crisp with dried cranberries. Spread filling into the prepared baking dish. Peel core and slice the apples thin and in a buttered 9 by 13 inch glass dish toss them with the cranberries. Preheat oven to 375 degrees f 190 degrees c butter an 8 inch square baking dish.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place evenly into baking dish. Next using a medium bowl combine apples and cranberries with one 1 tsp of cinnamon.
Spread the filling in a 9 by 13 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 for 50 55 minutes or until fruit is tender. Add the dried cranberries apple juice and melted butter and toss again.
Then in a separate medium bowl combine oats brown sugar flour 1 tsp cinnamon and nutmeg and cut the butter into the other ingredients with a pastry cutter or a fork. You should have about cup juices. In a separate bowl mix flour sugars oatmeal and cinnamon.
Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over the fruit and bake the crisp in a preheated. Transfer to 8 inch square baking dish. In the prepared pan layer the sliced apples and sprinkle the topping evenly over apples.
Pour into a greased 11x7 in. Mix dried cranberries into the topping mixture. Sprinkle over apple mixture.
