Eggnog Bundt Cake Recipe
Turn cake out onto rack to cool for at least 1 hour.
Eggnog bundt cake recipe. Transfer cooled cake to a platter. Blend well until smooth and loose adjust as needed with more egg nog or powdered sugar to get a good consistency. Mix cake mix eggnog rum oil eggs vanilla extract and nutmeg together in a bowl until blended.
Cool baked cake in the pan on a wire rack until pan is just cool enough to handle about 20 minutes. In a mixing bowl cream butter vanilla and eggnog. Put cake on serving platter spoon frosting around the top of cake and let it drizzle down the sides.
Whisk the flour baking powder baking soda and salt in a medium bowl set aside. Spread batter into the prepared pan. Grease a fluted tube pan such as bundt.
Pour eggnog mixture over cake. Batter will be thick. Eggnog bundt cake grease and flour or spray with baking spray a 10 bundt pan.
Step 4 stir together powdered sugar 2 tablespoons of the eggnog and remaining 1 tablespoon each bourbon and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth adding remaining 1 tablespoon eggnog 1 teaspoon at a time if needed for desired consistency. Transfer batter to a greased and floured 15 cup bundt cake mold. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean about 40 minutes.
