Recipe For Potato Dumpling Soup
Make only one dumpling at first.
Recipe for potato dumpling soup. Let it slide into the soup and watch if it holds its shape. Add all ingredients and cover with remaining water just enough to cover veggies. Do not drain vegetables.
Bring to a boil. Stir in the broth chicken celery carrots and sage. Add the milk to veggies in pot and lower temp.
Boil celery in the water until just tender do not drain. Get a large soup pot and melt the butter. In a large pot put potatoes celery and onions with enough water to just cover vegetables.
Keep adding noodle dough till gone stir only once to make sure noodles are not sticking to the bottom of the pan. Dip the teaspoon into the soup and take a small amount about teaspoon out of the potato mixture. Now add the dumpling noodle mixture to the very slightly boiling potato milk soup.
Mash slightly to eliminate chunks. In a small bowl combine the dumpling ingredients. Cooking at a simmer for about 3 5 minutes depending on amounts of water milk and ingredients used.
Start adding the potato dumplings to the soup using a teaspoon. Bring water to boil and cook just until vegetables are tender about 15 20 minutes. Add the onions carrots and celery and sauté for 5 minutes.
