Recipe Asparagus And Mushrooms
Snap off tough ends of asparagus and cut into 1 inch pieces.
Recipe asparagus and mushrooms. Cook green onions in olive oil over med. In a large skillet heat drippings over medium high heat. Sprinkle the asparagus and mushrooms with kosher salt or sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Season to taste with sea salt and black pepper. Add asparagus mushrooms and onion. Wash and slice mushrooms.
Arrange asparagus and mushrooms in an even layer on prepared baking sheet. High heat stirring constantly for one minute. Roast in the preheated oven until the asparagus is tender about 15 minutes.
In a large skillet saute asparagus and ginger in oil for 2 3 minutes or until asparagus is crisp tender. Cook and stir 2 3 minutes longer or until mushrooms are tender. Reduce heat to medium.
In a heavy frying pan i like cast iron cook onion and butter on med high to high heat until onion is tender. Sprinkle on a little salt. Add mushrooms and cook until they start to brown stirring often.
Remove the mushrooms to a plate but leave the any remaining butter in the pan. Cook stirring constantly for about 5 minutes. Put oil in pan over medium high heat.
